A single drama is broadcasted only once, it provides a presentation of a whole story from beginning to end.  It is often based on topics or issues that are more appropriate for television than cinema.

 

Single Dramas, are highly regarded, and as such they have their own BAFTA section. The nominees in the most recent BAFTAs were :
