Notes of the male gaze

I did debate using this scene for the focus on my feminist theory section. This is because I thought that the fact that Gretchin (the woman) needs the man to come and help her, to emotionally get her, and as thus needs a man. This shows the way in which females are portrayed in our society, and thus shows how we as a culture think that women need a man to support them.
